Objectives

  • Recognize M and /m/ sound.
  • Read/write M words (map, moon, mouse).
  • Improve fine motor control via dot‑to‑dot + coloring.
  • Activities
  1. Warm up (3): hum /m/ sound and feel vibration.
  2. Letter drawing (5): large chalk/board M.
  3. Tactile formation (7): make M with pegs on peg board.
  4. Workbook tracing (7): practice lines and M words.
  5. Colouring task (6): colour items starting with M.
  6. Dot‑to‑dot monkey activity (5) or connect numbers.
  7. Read & respond (5): favourite M word, trace/write it.
