– Objectives

  – Recognize P uppercase/lowercase, produce /p/ initial sound.

  – Read/write P words (pan, pig, pen).

– Activities

  1. Warm up (3): puff /p/ sound (blow a feather).

  2. Formation demo (5): start at top, straight line then loop.

  3. Tactile (7): form P with pipe cleaners.

  4. Workbook tracing (7): P practice + word tracing.

  5. Colouring/sorting (6): identify P words and colour.

  6. Dot‑to‑dot pig or related picture (5).

  7. Read & respond (5).

  – Workbook week 16, pipe cleaners, feather, crayons.

– Assessment

  – Checklist: letter ID, initial sound for 6 pictures, write one P word independently.
