Week 17 – Review Practice (J-P)
– Objectives
– Consolidate letters J–P: recognition, formation, initial sound discrimination.
– Read and write 2–3 familiar words from each letter group.
– Activities
1. Warm up (5): alphabet song with focus on J–P.
2. Rapid letter flash (5): name letters quickly.
3. Mixed sensory formation has ten stations. These stations include playdough (J), pipe cleaners (K), sand (L), peg (M), yarn (N), shaving (O), and pipe (P).
4. Workbook practice (10): complete practice lines (Week 17 page).
5. Matching game (5): picture to initial letter boxes.
6. Read‑aloud review & write (5): child writes three favourite words from the review.
